Chapter 5 Annie is not an outsider
Early the next morning, Lina was ready to go to the hospital for a checkup. After all, she needed to be sure before making plans no matter what.
But just as she reached the door, Lina ran into someone she didn't want to see.
"You are Lina?" Sally, wearing a light blue dress, stood in the garden, saw Lina approaching and asked.
In fact, she was waiting for Lina. She did not like this woman and her father, and slave-like people did not deserve to live in her house.
Lina just gave her a look without answering and continued on her way, she was now preoccupied with getting to the hospital and had no intention of interacting with her.
"I'm talking to you, why don't you answer me?" Ignored by Lina, Sally's anger was instantly stirred up.
Sally walked up to Lina, with her arms crossed, and angrily blocked her path.
"Why should I answer you?" Lina replay indifferently.
Hearing Lina's answer, Sally's cheeks instantly flushed with anger, "Because this is my house!"
"This is the home your mother robbed." Lina looked her in the eye without weakness.
"You!" Sally knew about it, and she hated Dill and his nasty daughter as much as Celta and Brugger did.
Because she found it very unpleasant that although Lina's face looked dark and earthy, Lina had undeniably beautiful eyes and her features were more delicate than hers!
And, what gave Lina the right to speak to her in that tone of voice? She was a princess and no one had treated her like that since she was a child.
"Do you really think that by marrying Angus, you can live the same life as me? You probably don't know that Angus, he's, well, a useful loser, and, well, he's about to die! Hahahaha, my naive sister, still thinks she's going to become a princess."
Sally said mockingly, she just couldn't believe that knowing what she was marrying, Lina could still be so calm.
Without answering, Lina walked around her and headed straight outside.
Would Sally be furious if she knew Angus was faking?
All she wanted to do now was to make sure she was pregnant or not, and as for Sally, she didn't put her mind to her at all.
The journey to the hospital was apprehensive.
After the blood was drawn and the ultrasound was done, a bitter smile appeared on Lina's face.
"Miss Lina. Congrats! You're pregnant."
The doctor's words echoed in the ears.
Back from the hospital, Lina returned to her room without saying a word, sat on the bed, looked at the list in her hands, and could no longer hold back the tears.
Inside her belly, there's indeed a little baby.
What to do? Should she continue the agreement with Angus like this?
But now, she could only do so, or she wouldn't get back everything that belonged to her dad, and even, Celta might make more excessive revenges on her and her dad out of anger.
She was not capable of confronting Celta right now, but if Celta started her revenge, she had no way to resist.
Dill already knew the answer when he watched Lina lock herself in her room.
After waiting for a while for Lina to calm down by herself, Dill propped herself up against the wall, walked to the door of her room, and knocked, "May I come in?"
Hearing Dill's voice, Lina wiped away her tears, made herself smile, and then opened the door to help him in.
"Do you, want to keep this little one in your belly?" Dill asked softly.
Lina nodded her head without hesitation, of course she wanted to keep the baby.
Even if she knew how hard it would be for a single woman to give birth to a child and raise it, she still had to have it.
Despite not knowing who the man was that night, the child was innocent and it was an angel sent by God, and she could not kill the baby.
The reason why she was troubled was that she just didn't know what to deal with all of these matters at once.
After all, Angus agreed to the deal with her because he didn't know her condition, but if he knew she already had a baby in her belly, would he still agree to cooperate?
"Okay, then Lina, I need to see Mr. Angus for a moment." Dill requested.
"Daddy?" Lina looked at her dad in disbelief as to why he wanted to see Angus.
Dill smiled, "You have done too much for me. You don't have to bother for these things, and I will handle with it. You just arrange for us to meet, and give the rest to me. You don't have to think about other things. Now that you insist to keep the bay, I will bear with you together."
Lina didn't know what Dill was up to, but he insisted on seeing Angus, who she had said was a gentleman, so she had to go and try.
After calling and confirming his schedule with Angus, Lina took a taxi directly to his office.
What she didn't expect was that besides Angus, there was someone else there. It was Annie, the woman who she saw that day at the restaurant.
While at this moment, Annie, was snuggled in Angus's arms.
Seeing Lina, Annie smiled slightly with confidence.
Was this the woman? Was she the wife Angus' father chose for him?
Average look, average body, average temperament, in short, Lina was was average wherever she looked from.
"Uh - Mr. Angus, can I talk to you alone?" Lina asked, somewhat uncomfortably.
Angus was not very happy about Lina's arrival.
"Just get to the point, Annie's not an outsider."
Hearing these words, Annie's heart was simply happy.
Although Angus had no choice but to marry this woman, what he just meant was that she was more important, wasn't she?
"Okay." Lina shrugged helplessly, now it was herself who had to trouble him, besides, looking at Annie's reaction, she should already know about the agreement between him and Angus.
"My father wants to see you, can I trouble you..."
Before Lina could finish her sentence, she was interrupted by Angus.
"No way." Angus said coldly.
This woman was really more and more reckless. He just promised her cooperation that day, but only to take what he need, there were only two days later, and then she was making another demand.
What's more, since it's a fake marriage that he's not interested at all, let alone wasting his time going along with anything she did.
Lina didn't expect him to refuse so directly, but being reused was actually the result she had thought.
Only Dill insisted on seeing Angus, and she had to come and try.
Looking at Annie, who was leaning against his chest, Lina really thought Annie looked pretty.
She had big blue eyes, delicate melon face and brown hair slightly curled up, and a white sarong was to set off her fair skin.
Even she, a female, thought Annie was good-looking.
"Sorry for the intrusion." Since he had already refused, there was no need for her to continue to bring it on and make him unhappy.
Regarding the pregnancy, she had already thought about it and tried to get Celta to return her shares to her father within three months after the wedding and then end the partnership with Angus.
"Please wait, Miss Lina." Annie, who had been keeping silent, suddenly called out to Lina.
Lina stopped and looked back at Annie.
Annie held Angus's hand, and said with her soft and sweet voice, "Angus, I think you should meet Lina's dad, for he must want to get to know you."
