103: Don't Act Like You Don't Know

Walking through the foyer after spending a perfect day with Justin, I couldn't believe my luck when I saw Drake sitting on my couch. My heart skipped a beat as I froze at that moment. I knew he was here to ask me about his mother's project, and truthfully, I wasn't finished with it yet. I had been so caught up in the fun of the day that I completely forgot about the project.
I knew he was going to start throwing inevitable questions at my face. Camilla, why didn't you pick up the phone? Why didn't you do this? Why you didn't you do that? Oh crap, I knew he was about to be annoying.
But I was definitely going to come up with a good excuse. Like, I didn't even owe him an explanation, just his mother. But as I looked at his expectant face, I couldn't help but feel guilty for not finishing the project.
Drake rose to his feet, staring at me. His face was not a good one. "So, tell me, why haven't you been answering my calls?"
