Chapter 10 A Meeting With His Grandfather
What Allen said chilled Madison to her bone.
Madison took a deep breath to calm herself down. Not wanting to invite further humiliation from Allen, she lifted her fingers and started to undo the buttons on her jacket.
After that, she took off the gray knitted sweater she was wearing, revealing the black camisole underwear that wrapped around her voluptuous figure. She then put on the brand-new dress as quickly as she could. Even though it only took her two minutes to change into the dress, Madison felt like an eternity had passed.
In the end, she finally put on the dress.
Madison raised her eyes and said, “Mr. Whitlock, I’m done.”
Allen glanced at her coldly. Madison’s hair was slightly disheveled as it cascaded down her shoulders, and her face was red with embarrassment. The light blue and pearl white dress further accentuated her beauty and femininity.
He frowned deeply. He did not know why, but the image of Madison taking off her jacket to reveal her black camisole underwear and her glistening fair skin flashed in his mind.
His face became even darker when the image popped up in his head.
“If you’re done, then get out of the car,” he said before rising to his feet and getting out of the car.
Madison looked at Allen’s gloomy face. She did not know what she had done wrong to offend him again. She had already done everything he had told her to do, so why did he still look like she had angered him again?
‘What a volatile man!’ Madison thought as she got out of the car.
After that, they walked into the elevator one after another.
When the elevator door opened again, before Madison could take a step forward, Allen stretched his arm forward and grabbed her into his embrace.
“Ummm…” Madison let out a moan and froze.
The man's arms were strong, and the way he placed his palm on her waist reminded her of something. It was as if he could easily break her waist with his powerful arms. The feeling of being held tightly and unable to escape was similar to what she had experienced that night at The Nyx.
She instantly thought of the man in the club who had pinned her to the door.
Madison squirmed uncomfortably in his arms and said with a shaky voice, “Mr. Whitlock, you don’t have to do this…”
“Pretending to be my wife in front of my grandfather is one of your jobs. You’d better behave yourself, Madison. Don’t give me any trouble!” Allen warned her coldly.
He thought the woman was squirming uneasily in his arms because she wanted to raise the price and get more bargaining chips.
Madison froze when she saw the contempt in his eyes.
Allen deeply believed that she was a loose woman, so he thought she was being pretentious when she acted flustered after being held by him.
Madison lowered her head and did not say anything anymore.
After she quieted down, Allen pushed the door to the VIP room with her in his arms.
“Grandpa.”
“Hmph! Is that brat here again? Tell him I don’t want to see him. I'd rather die in this nursing home than see anyone from the Whitlocks…”
“Mr. Robinson…”
At the same time, another familiar and gentle voice sounded.
“Eh? Madison? What are you doing here, Madison? No, wait a second. How come you’re with Allen?”
Hendrick’s anger abated, and his eyes lit up as soon as he saw Madison.
He had been low in spirits for the past few days because his favorite caretaker had not shown up for several days in a row while his grandson refused to agree to his request.
“Madison is my wife, so she naturally has to come here with me.”
Allen sat down beside Hendrick's bed with Madison in his arms and looked at him calmly.
“What? She’s your wife? What do you mean?”
“We just got married several days ago,” Allen replied faintly.
Hendrick gasped when he heard what Allen said. However, he felt more happy than surprised.
He had been under the impression Allen would not agree to his request. Little did he expect that Allen would act so fast and have already gotten married to Madison.
“Madison, you should call him Grandpa now,” Allen said as he pinched at Madison’s waist, causing her to tremble slightly.
Her cheeks turned scorching hot, exploding in fiery darts that shot through her whole body. Her voice was shaky as she opened her mouth and said embarrassingly, “G… Grandpa…”
“Yes, good girl.” Hendrick was smiling from ear to ear.
“I didn’t know that you two have already married, so I didn’t prepare any gift for you. How about this? I’ll give you some money, and you—”
“It’s okay, Mr… I mean, Grandpa. I'm already very happy with your blessing. You don't need to give me money.”
“No, that isn’t enough at all. It’s normal for me to give you some gift or money since you’re my granddaughter-in-law. Come, give me your account number. I’ll give you some, and you can go get yourself a gift.”
Hendrick insisted on giving her the money, but Madison did not want it.
In the end, Hendrick respected her decision and forwent the attempt.
“Heh, you’re so lucky to have a wife like her, you little brat. I told you that you should marry her, but you refused to listen to me…”
Hendrick was very happy with Madison becoming his granddaughter-in-law. Looking at Allen holding Madison in his arms, although there was no expression on his grandson’s face, he knew that he had made big progress by getting so close to a woman.
“What do you think? I didn’t lie to you, right? Madison is a good girl.” Hendrick chuckled.
“Yeah, you’re right,” Allen replied plainly.
He did not refute Hendrick's words but did not praise Madison either.
“Tsk, you little brat…” Hendrick pouted disapprovingly.
He felt that his grandson still had a long way to go. He wanted him to praise his wife, not to go along with what he said.
“Alright, alright, you go out and wait. I have something to tell Madison in person,” said Hendrick.
