Chapter 88 The Confirmation

I pushed away the food, glaring at the plate as if we were sworn enemies. The food was good. The aroma was good but I just couldn't eat it. My stomach was not settled and I could barely stand it.
I knew what the problem was. I was nervous and insanely curious that I doubted I was going to be able to get anything done until I fixed what the problem was.
I picked out my phone and dialed, hating that she wasn't picking up. Where the hell was she and why wasn't she picking up?
"Aren't you going to eat?" Aunt Kathy said as she stared at me, and then pointing at the food I had abandoned minutes ago and was now getting cold.
I shook my head. "I'm not eating."
She snorted. "Why? You aren't telling me that, boy."
I grinned. Aunt Kathy was the only one who could talk to me with that tone. Everyone in town feared me but Aunty Kathy didn't give a damn about my notoriety. She had raised me, fed and clothed me after my mother couldn't deal with her cold and harsh reality.
