Chapter 44 Extra-curricular activities

"What is going on?" I asked Nathan as we got to the school and saw a crowd of people around the notice board.
My heart skipped a beat as I was afraid it was about me. Mia had backed away that the silence was beginning to look deadly to me. I spent the minutes being afraid that there was going to be a bombshell landing on me soon and reminding myself not to get carried away by the false security. It didn't help that Ryan wasn't talking to me still.
Nathan glanced at the crowd and snorted. "I know what it is."
"Is it posted on the students' community online page again?" I asked, my eyes darting quickly toward him.
He chuckled. "Relax, Amelia. That gossip trap has been silent for days now and I keep telling you that. Why won't you relax?"
"Maybe because school life has been a whirlwind of twists that I forgot how to be relaxed here." I replied.
He snorted. "Should I tell you what they are checking out or you wouldn't believe me and would rather find out by yourself?"
