CHAPTER 122: SHOULD I ASK FOR HELP?
SABRINA POV
I emerged from the room and saw Jared working on his laptop in the sitting room; he didn't even notice my presence.
I walked towards the dining table and saw that his lunch was still there; he had eaten breakfast because we had the meal together, but now he's not willing to eat lunch because of work. The food has gotten cold already.
I walked back to the sitting room and called for his attention. "Jared, are you not eating lunch?" I asked with a sad face. I hate when he's neglecting food because of work.
"Oh! I'm sorry, I totally forgot about it; I will eat it right now," he said, and I smiled.
"It's okay, let me get you a new one done; that one is cold already," I said, and he nodded before continuing his work.
I quickly prepared another pasta in a few minutes and got it on the dining table. "It's done, Jared," I said, and he smiled at me, a pale smile maybe. He must be very worn out and exhausted, yet he won't stop because of the company's situation.
