Chapter 26

Claire wakes up the next morning and drags her heavy feet into the bathroom to have a warm bath. Her whole body is still aoe from last night's sex. She just lays so numb in the bathtub and allows herself to get covered with the foam made by the bathing soap liquid. She dips her body in, leaving her face out alone. Taking a deep breath of the scented lemon water, she sleeps under. Dressing up, she packs her stuff into her bag as she will be returning to the police station. Unwilling to give up on the tattoo trail, she makes up her mind to make sure she gets to know about this today. She arrives at the police station and gets to her desk after taking a hot cup of coffee. Claire opens her system and enlists the help of her father's "old friends" to set up several custom tattoo parlors as her father is a retired police detective with a lot of shady informants. She scrolls through the information and addresses of the various tattoo parlors in town and scribbles then in her notebook
