Chapter 25
Claire was happy to have a sister even though they didn't share the same mother. She was sure that she was her half sister because her mother never had a female child other than her. Claire got so happy that she could finally have a friend who would not leave her like others did, especially since they shared the same father.
Her classmates were like everyone else. They judge her based on her parent's behavior and not for who she is. She once argued with the owner of a pharmacy about what determines people's fate.
'Girl, it's funny you mentioned that. Our fate has been decided by God." The old pharmacist said.
'So we are like robots? Without the ability to make our choices?" Claire asked the pharmacist.
'We can make our choices. These choices are what leads to fate itself."
