CHAPTER 208: STRANGER AT THE FIRM

The glass door opened automatically, and Camilla walked through. There were lots of people in the lobby, most of whom were admiring some of the paintings on the wall while some were looking at the pictures of houses that coated the walls. Her steps echoed against the polished marble floor. Her heart raced in frustration and concern as she imagined how she would confront Samantha. She walked to the receptionist's desk, where a young girl stood behind it. The girl seemed new since Camilla knew the other receptionists who'd worked with the firm. "Good morning.
