Hearing Juliana's question, Avery instinctively raised her hand to touch her neck. "Doesn't seem like it. My neck doesn't hurt."

The moment she stood in front of the mirror and saw the mark on her neck, her expression darkened like a storm cloud. It had to be Mason's doing from the night before.
