"Andrew's been treating you quite well lately," Sharon said as she sipped on the warm milk Lillian had prepared for her breakfast.
"Thanks to your help," Lillian replied with a wide, almost exaggerated smile as she handed Sharon a tissue.
Sharon wiped her lips and continued, "If things keep going like this, the truth might come out sooner rather than later. After all, Clara was skilled at everything from rock climbing to racing, but Briar... And what if Clara's old friends show up? Wouldn't that blow your cover?"
Lillian had already thought about this, but fortunately, for now, there were only rumors about Clara's possible return. The Garcia family hadn't officially announced anything, so Clara's friends probably wouldn't show up anytime soon.
