CHAPTER 31: MEETING HER AGAIN
Victoria held Laura's hand in the air. It was almost like in the movies, only that Laura had too many bangles on her wrist, and it grazed Victoria's hands.
"This particular model cost me a lot of money," Victoria addressed Laura casually, as though there was no history between them. "So, forgive me if I don't let you destroy it." She carefully placed the model back in the booth and turned back to face Laura with the big smile of a saleswoman. "So, ma'am, what is it you want to buy again?"
Laura glared at Victoria and then shifted her deadly gaze to Sarah. "Well, you have first to warn this assistant of your, then ask her to apologize to me." She folded her hands and furrowed her brows. Waiting.
" I will do no such thing." Victoria's voice was slightly raised. Her calm demeanor was gone, and she stood with arms akimbo, staring hard at Laura, who was also doing the same. "And by the way, she's not my assistant."
"That's amusing," Laura cut her off. Her face formed in mock astonishmen
