Kira tried hard to hide her euphoria.
She looked away from him. ‘I thought you were hell-bent on marrying her. You told me so back in Rinton. What made you change your mind?’
Austyn racked his brain for a logical explanation.
Should he just tell her that he got his memory back?
But Kira had never been a good actress.
She wore her heart on her sleeve.
It was one of the many things he loved about her, but it could also derail his plan.
