We walked through several streets and stopped in front of a few towering modern buildings. Their cold facades reflected the light.
The light pollution was quite severe. That was my first thought.
Sean squinted and looked around. "Xavier, why did you bring me here?"
"I'm introducing you to someone... you'll find out when we get there," I said without planning to elaborate further.
I led him to a private and upscale cafe in Marina Cove, as directed by Grace.
The cafe was called Piccolo.
"Wait here. They'll be here in a few minutes."
Sean nodded. "Okay."
A few minutes later, Grace walked in with sunglasses while leading another woman with a mask.
Both of them were tall and elegant. Everyone turned their heads to look at them as they walked past.
I couldn't help but twitch my mouth in confusion.
Wasn't it said that celebrities were usually low-profile? Grace and her companion were so high-profile; it was like inviting the paparazzi.
