I often wondered if Sean and Evie would have a future together.
"Sean, don't worry. I heard there's an excellent psychologist abroad named Janice Fowls. I'll have Drew contact her to see if Evie can try treatment overseas." I reassured him.
Sean's mood eased a bit, and his eyes reddened. "Thank you, Xavier. I consider myself lucky to have met you in my life."
I didn't say anything and just patted his shoulder.
When Sullivan came over with the dishes and saw Sean, he suddenly realized. "Xavier, you ordered non-spicy dishes because Sean can't eat spicy food, right?"
Sean hadn't noticed the issue with the dishes before.
After Sullivan mentioned it, he realized I had ordered mild dishes out of consideration for his sore throat, which touched him deeply. "Xavier..."
I couldn't stand the sentimental scene. "Sean, don't mind it. If it weren't for your work, you wouldn't have strained your throat like this."
