The next morning, I woke up with a headache. I definitely had not slept well last night. I went and checked on Jeremiah and then went to the bathroom to wash up.
Then I washed his face again. I sat on the bed next to him and started talking to him again like I had done yesterday. I didn't know if he could hear me, but I just wanted to talk to him. I knew that miracles would not happen and that it was not a drama, but I still hoped that he would wake up soon.
At noon, I texted Tiffany and told her I was leaving for the shopping center in half an hour. She read my message but didn't respond to me. I didn't know if she would show up, but I went there anyway.
