Holding my breath, I didn't dare move an inch. As my mind raced with countless endings, my heart pounded in my chest like a drum. The clouds above gradually disappeared, revealing a bright crescent moon. The two of us were blocked by a large tree, and I could finally see the person's face under the moonlight. His deep, striking eyes were partially hidden by the black hair strands falling across his forehead. His nose almost touched mine, and his warm breath brushed against my cheeks.
