Chapter 10
I stared at the screen as my mind began to wander. As far as I could remember, this was the first time she'd ever updated me about her whereabouts.
Last time, I wasn't even allowed to ask her how many of her friends she was seeing when she went out. She would think that I was just being a busybody.
"Why do I need to tell you everything that I'm doing? Don't you think a relationship like this is very tiring and exhausting?"
After her outburst, it had taken me forever to try to calm her down. Although she calmed down afterward, she still made it clear to me multiple times that I was never to stick my nose into her business anymore.
I replied faintly, "Okay."
She tried explaining things to me again. "It's really because he keeps throwing up. Also, it's very late at night. I'm only staying here because of those reasons. Don't overthink things."
