From Emily's point of view.
I was so preoccupied with that question that I didn't hear what Simon had said at all.
Simon tugged on the sleeve of my shirt. "Emily, what's the matter? You don't look so good, are you feeling unwell?"
I shook my head. "No. Perhaps I didn't sleep well last night."
I thought of an excuse on the spot. Fortunately, he did not carry on asking.
Simon said, "After this task, you should go back and get some rest. You mustn't wear yourself out. When we meet Princess Shirley later, I'll take care of everything."
Leaning towards my ear, he whispered, "Princess Shirley has a bad temper, and she gets frustrated easily."
I nodded.
Five minutes later, Princess Shirley walked out.
