I teased, "I'm afraid you'll be in danger for that." "Danger?" I smiled and explained, "Because I won't be responsible if you get hurt after you decide to get closer to me." I had been hurt by two men in a row. Thus, I had very little trust in men at the moment. After a moment of silence, Simon said, "I'm not afraid of getting hurt. I chose to get closer to you, so I can only blame myself even if I get hurt in the end." I was startled upon hearing that. Before I could think of something to respond to his words, he continued, "So, you don't have to worry about anything. You only have to stand there and do nothing. I will be the one to approach you." "I can only hope you give me a chance." Simon's words were utterly tempting.
