CHAPTER 47: ALPHA NELL

Nell's POV I took a gulp from the cup in my hand. I was a little worried at first that the plan would fail and that Alpha would just continue to search for the missing children on his own.  But then I saw one of their guards approach our territory, and I realized it was falling into place. Thankfully, I hadn't joined the wolves that went for the attack, so I didn't have to worry about any of them remembering my scent.  The desperation in his eyes was obvious as he spoke; he needed help, and he was swallowing his pride to beg for it.  I had anticipated them going to look for the children, but I expected them to give it some time. The urgency at which they came looking just showed how right I was about the entire situation. Choosing to take the children was an awesome choice; the applause should go to Nicki.  "The mate is quite weird." Nicki said as she said it in front of me.  They were all probably snug in the bed we offered them by now, oblivious to their surroundings. "Why? Be
