Karen Qian took the lead in opening the door, turning sideways to gesture to Eliana to go ahead. Eliana smiled and thanked him, taking a step towards the door. Just as one foot stepped out, she suddenly jerked it back and even dodged to the side. Karen Qian, following closely behind her, looked puzzled. "What's wrong?"
