Chapter 45: Recommendation

Nick didn't say much, and there was no hint of dissatisfaction on his face. Derrick was speechless himself, quietly warning Ethan to tone it down. Would Nick be the kind of person to calmly accept a setback? Clearly not. In the past, he would have fought back long ago. But this time, he was unusually patient. Derrick immediately caught on. After finishing their meal, even before Nick could speak, he took the initiative and said, "Alright, what do you want us to do?" Nick didn't hesitate either, stating plainly, "I want to recommend a very talented jewelry designer to you." Derrick raised an eyebrow, "Who?" Nick replied, "A promising newcomer. She's not well-known in the industry yet, but her designs are quite imaginative." Derrick chuckled, looking at him, "You know about jewelry design too? You're a jack-of-all-trades!" Nick shook his head, "I don't, but I can still distinguish good from bad. I have a few of her design sketches on my phone; you can take a look."
