Chapter 6

Estelle opened her bleary eyes, fluttering her moist lashes. As much as she wanted to explain herself, the bloody taste in her mouth intensified before she could even open her mouth to speak. Seeing that she was not saying a word, Dillon knitted his brows together even more. The air in the limited car space turned colder, too. Sensing the tension, Estelle started shivering uncontrollably. When she finally managed to swallow the bloodiness at the back of her throat, Dillon suddenly ordered his driver to stop the car. Before she could say anything, he looked at her with disgust in his eyes as he commanded, "Get out." Estelle looked out the window in a panic. Their surroundings were completely dark while her bag was still with Seth. She didn't have money to flag a cab at all. She didn't even have her phone with her. Seeing that she wasn't budging, Dillon opened the car door and dragged her out of the car. He pushed her to the floor nonchalantly and stared at her from above. "Don't taint my car with your filth." Realizing that he was about to leave, Estelle grabbed onto his leg immediately. She lifted her head and looked at him in terror. "I'm sorry, Dillon. Don't leave me here. It won't be easy to flag a cab from here. I—" He pulled her away from him in disgust. Then, he responded in an eerily frosty tone, "How difficult it is to flag a cab has nothing to do with me, does it?" After saying that, he chuckled softly. He wouldn't even care about a bitch like her if he wasn't worried about her and Seth doing anything that would ruin the Waverly family's reputation. Without turning back to look at her, he got into his black Maybach and left like the wind, leaving a cloud of exhaust smoke in her face. A gust of wind blew, making Estelle shudder involuntarily. It was freezing. Her stomach was wrenching in pain, too, as if someone was ripping her insides. Unfortunately, there was not a single soul to be seen. She couldn't even get help, even though she wanted to. All of a sudden, the roaring sound of some motorbike engines came from a distance. Right after that, there was a beam of light that swept across in her direction. Instinctively, she lifted her hand to shield her eyes from the glare. Not long after, a few motorbikes stopped in front of her, and a few thugs with various hair colors stood in her way. A blue-haired thug in front whistled at her. "Hello, pretty lady. Are you here on your own?" Feeling the perverted gaze from the man, Estelle started shivering uncontrollably. Forcing herself to bear with the pain, she got to her feet and threatened the thugs with a quiver in her voice, "You people should hurry off. Dillon Waverly is my husband. I am his wife." The blue-haired man spat on the ground in disdain. "Don't be afraid, pretty lady. I am a good man. You must be so afraid, being here all on your own. Why don't I spend some time with you?" While he spoke, he reached out to tease her. Estelle retreated instinctively. Crossing her arms in front of her chest, she stared at the thugs before her eyes with tears in her eyes, looking alarmed. When she looked up, a glint of awe flashed across the eyes of the blue-haired man. Then, he licked his lips in a dirty manner. "It looks like it was a good decision to make this trip out here. We normally wouldn't even be able to sleep with such a gorgeous woman even if we spent 200 dollars, would we?" "That's right. I've only seen women of her standard at clubs before. Those women were treated like they were made of gold. It's almost impossible even to hold their hands." One of them sniggered. "In that case, we've gotten lucky today, haven't we?" These people studied Estelle in even dirtier gazes. It was as if she had already been stripped naked. She started shaking even more. She spun around to run away, but the blue-haired thug grabbed her hair and pulled her back. He shoved her to the ground and gave her one hard kick in her stomach. "Trying to run away? I am going to do it with you right here and make you mine." While the man was becoming more and more impertinent with his words, Estelle broke out in a cold sweat even more. Seeing that he was about to touch her again, she warned them once again, "I am Dillon's wife. You people can't touch me." The blue-haired man chuckled and turned back at his fellow thugs. "Did you people hear what she said? This woman claims that she's Mrs. Waverly, Dillon Waverly's wife." Not only were those people unafraid, they became more excited. One of them, who looked unusually thin, was so excited that his eyes were twinkling. "That's such a coincidence, then! You happen to be the person we were looking to screw." They came prepared? Before Estelle could even think, the blue-haired man had reached out to remove her clothes. She belched. A mouthful of blood splattered right on the back of the blue-haired man's hand. He let out a cry, then kicked Estelle to the ground right away in disgust. "You bitch! That's disgusting!" Her stomach was hurting really badly in the first place. Now that she had just suffered another kick by that man, even more blood filled Estelle's mouth. She also started to drift out of consciousness. In the end, her vision went black. She passed out and lay limply on the ground. Realizing that she had fainted, the blue-haired man took a few steps back in fear. The other thugs were filled with terror. One of the thugs who was about to capture the encounter on video looked toward the blue-haired man. In a worried voice, he asked, "Did we just mess things up? What happens if she dies?" "Shut up!" The blue-haired man shot his subordinate a glare. Then, he looked at Estelle, feeling displeased. There was even a vague tinge of dissatisfaction in his eyes. After pondering for a moment, he left extremely reluctantly. "Let's go. It's not worth it to take someone's life for that small amount of money." … After the driver dropped Alison back at the Sawford residence, she flung her phone at a wall in anger. With a vicious look on her face, she stared out the window and gritted her teeth. "Damn it! Why can't that bitch just go to hell?" First, it was Dillon who ignored her because of Estelle. Now, a bunch of imbeciles spared her. That woman was on the brink of death. Why was she still coming against her? A knock sounded at the door. Instantly, the viciousness on Alison's face vanished and was replaced by a harmless expression. … The next day, Estelle could hear the familiar beeping sound of machines. She opened her eyes in a daze. Staring at the white ceiling above her, a bitter smile spread across her face. She thought she would've died. The nurse, who was handling the equipment hooked up to her, turned around and saw that she had teared up. Then, she sighed at her. "Ms. Sawford, you should be well aware of your current physical condition. I think you should just stay at our hospital. Don't leave." Estelle scanned the empty hospital ward, then looked toward the nurse with a curious gaze. "Who brought me in here?" The nurse shook her head and answered, "I'm not sure." Estelle lowered her eyes, feeling dejected. Then, she mocked herself by saying, "This kindhearted person might have just done something wrong despite their good intentions. If—" Suddenly, a furious voice came from the door, "Estelle!" Following that, a sharp-looking man in a silver suit walked in. He looked somewhat like Estelle, but the disdain in his eyes was exactly like Dillon's. "Why didn't you just die out there? Is it fun for you to be bullying Alison all the time?" Not only wasn't Estelle mad when she heard that, but she even laughed. She wasn't even aware she had bullied that brat from the Sawford family. Seeing as she was keeping silent, the man flung a divorce agreement onto the bed. "Quit the act! We won't cry a single tear even if you dropped dead right now. Alison is now pregnant with Dillon's child. I want you to divorce Dillon right away."
