Josh smiled faintly, "I will." Miranda pursed her lips, pretending not to hear their conversation as she browsed the menu. After they ordered, the three of them chatted casually while waiting for their food. Suddenly, Naomi's expression shifted. She glared fiercely at something behind Miranda. Noticing this, Miranda turned her head. It was Xavier and Yovanna, hand in hand, strolling toward them. They were also there for barbecue, and coincidentally, the only empty table was right next to Miranda. Yovanna's eyes widened in surprise when she spotted Miranda. "Ms. Jennings, what a coincidence!" she exclaimed, her smile radiating charm. "It seems we're destined to meet." Miranda returned the smile and replied, "Yes, indeed." Naomi regarded Yovanna with a mocking expression. "What kind of destiny are we talking about?" she asked. "A karmic one?" Yovanna's face paled at her words. She clutched Xavier's arm tightly, retreating partially behind him as if seeking protection from Naomi.
