"Emma, you really haven't been back in ages," Frank remarked, his tone laced with bitter nostalgia. "I always hoped you'd return so we could all gather for a proper family dinner. I never imagined we'd be waiting two whole years." Emma offered a faint smile, her response cool and measured. She offered no further comment. Sensing an opening, Lea pressed on, saying, "Emma, Frank and I are about to settle things down, and we're even thinking about starting a family. Do you think we should start trying now or wait for another year?" Her words dripped with insincerity as she teased, "Although Frank may not fuss over details like that, it'd be nice to think about it. Don't you agree?" Emma arched an eyebrow. Deliberately aiming a barb at Lea's heart, she countered, "You guys should get the paperwork done first. So, when do you and Mr. Castro plan to tie the knot?" Frank had stayed silent until now, his eyes fixed on Emma as if searching for any sign of guilt. But she remained unfa
