Over the next few days, Amelia tried to focus on supporting Alessandro and the family. She helped Eloise sort through Giancarlo's personal effects, each item a bittersweet reminder of the man they had lost. She sat with Alessandro as he worked through the mountain of paperwork involved in taking over the family business, offering silent support and the occasional word of encouragement.
