Chapter 49 The Human Heart

While backing up, I said, “You can stay in Las Georgia for a few more days and get used to it. Help me find a house while you’re at it. Curtis gave me another project that’s a little tough, so I might not be able to leave for the time being.” Emily cussed and said unpleasantly, “Why are you picking up a project when you’re already planning to leave?
