The woman noticed Yvette and Whitney approaching behind Thomas. Her expression changed slightly, but then she shook her head and said to Thomas, "Men's words are just sweet talk. You're no different. Your fiancée is beautiful. I don't believe you wouldn't want to marry her."
Thomas chuckled, a smirk playing on his lips.
Yvette's grip on Whitney's hand tightened, and she fixed her gaze intently on Thomas.
In a smug tone, Thomas said, "If she's not my type, even a goddess wouldn't catch my interest."
The woman pressed on, "So, how do I compare to your fiancée? Do you like me?"
Thomas looked at her and said nonchalantly, "Men like women who are sensible and understanding."
He was implying Yvette lacked such qualities.
Whitney glanced at Yvette, noticing her face had turned pale. Yvette pressed her lips together, her eyes glistening with unshed tears that vanished almost instantly. She let go of Whitney's hand and walked a few steps closer to Thomas, glaring coldly at him.
