Whitney was making a scene? She was just telling the truth, yet she was the one being blamed for making a scene?
"Damian, I really don't want it anymore. Please don't argue with Whitney because of me," Rachel said, her eyes welling up as she turned to leave.
Damian quickly stopped her. "Since I promised to give you a gift, I'll buy what you like."
Then, he looked back at Whitney, his tone growing harsh. "You've always been generous, so let's not argue over this. Give her this necklace, and you can pick out another. I'll pay for it."
So, this was Damian's choice. He'd give Rachel anything she wanted. Whether it was a necklace, a job, or anything else. Just like the last time they both fell into the pool, Damian had chosen to save Rachel first.
