Whitney bumped straight into a person, almost into an embrace. Luckily he was wearing a soft, cushiony cardigan, so she wasn't hurt.
"Ms. Spencer?" Whitney heard the man call with a vaguely familiar voice.
She looked up in confusion and saw a gentleman with warm, sparkly eyes in a white cardigan, layered over a gray sweatshirt made of high-quality fabric, and smoke-gray casual trousers.
The man exuded a gentle, graceful presence.
He looked somewhat familiar, making Whitney furrow her brows in confusion.
"It's been a while, Noel," the man greeted.
"How long has it been? More than two months? Is your research going smoothly?" Noel smiled and chatted with the man.

"I've been busy recently in the lab, and finally came out of it a few days ago." Caleb looked down at Whitney, noticing she seemed to remember who he was. "Did you recall who I am, Ms. Spencer?"
