Chapter 60
Seth's voice was low and hoarse as he said, "I'm so envious of your father for having such a sweet, well-behaved daughter like you."
How wonderful it'd be if he and Layla had a daughter like Daisy. A daughter would have definitely bridged the gap between them, unlike Benjamin, who only knew how to cause trouble for him.
Daisy wrapped her arms around Seth's neck at his words and planted a kiss on his cheek. Her soft lips carried a faint milky scent that instantly made Seth's heart melt.
He held her tightly, unwilling to let go. He was even tempted to ask Layla to allow Daisy to stay with him a little longer.
Just as the thought came to mind, Layla's voice interrupted him. "Daisy, it's time to go home."
Daisy reluctantly let go of Seth's embrace, giving him a small smile before running over to Mark. She stretched out her arms, asking Mark for a hug.
Mark bent down and picked her up. Smiling, he gently ruffled her hair. "Say goodbye to Mr. Parker."
Obediently, Daisy waved goodbye
