Amidst the series of accusations, Natalie finally realized something was wrong.
She calmed down and looked at Bethany. "You called me over just to tell me this?"
Instead of answering, Bethany asked, "If I jump from here and tell Taylor that you pushed me, who do you think he'll believe?"
"Are you out of your mind?"
"Jumping down from the third floor might not kill me, but if I win the bet, Taylor will hate you forever."
Natalie's expression changed slightly. "Is it worth betting your life on?"
"Whether it's worth it or not has nothing to do with you." With that, Bethany turned around and jumped without hesitation.
Natalie instinctively reached out to grab her. "Bethany!"
As she reached out, Bethany had already fallen to the ground.
Natalie leaned on the windowsill. Feeling dazed, she watched the blood pool on the ground and listened to the screams around her.
Bethany did jump.
Under everyone's watchful eyes, she became the prime suspect.
Someone had already called the police
