Taylor shifted slightly to position himself directly across from Natalie.
His dark and intense eyes locked onto her pale, indifferent face. A mysterious smile played at the corners of his lips. "Do you want me to be a match, or would you rather I wasn't?"
"If your kidney is a match, my father will be saved. Of course, I want you to be a match."
"I want that too—more than you know."
Natalie's intense gaze softened just a bit. It seemed he wasn't a match, after all.
