CHAPTER 96: THE CONFRONTATION
"What am I doing here?" Drakon asked with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.
Amelinda scurried deeper into her cell, enclosed in darkness, as Drakon drew closer. The entire room was eerily dark, with only a tiny window as a source of light and air.
"What have you done?" Amelinda asked as the other wolves followed Drakon from behind.
"I have done nothing wrong. I'm only held here against my will," Amelinda said.
"Against your will, huh… who does that?" Drakon asked as he dragged a seat along and sat on it. His gaze narrowed into a stealthy look. He looked apprehensive; his hands kept on his lap.
"I... I don't know," Amelinda said, her voice echoing from the shadow.
"I have to do more than just ask. You better talk now; I'm only asking nicely," Drakon said. "What have you done?" His voice deepened into a slight growl.
"I... I have no idea what you're talking about," Amelinda said from the shadows, her voice unstable and shaky.
"Alright then, I'll have to get the truth my way," Drako
