CHAPTER 83: HER MAGIC
Dahlia turned to Drakon, who was seething and visibly trembling out of rage. She could understand that he was worried about Shirley and that she was helpless and at the mercy of Axton. However, Dahlia knew that any rash move from him would leave him in regret. She knew her sister well; she was fierce, relentless and robust.
How the wolf guard could break out of her bubble prison now made sense. That spell was a particular spell she'd developed when she'd been younger. It was potent and near impossible to escape from. However, Dahlia had taught her sister the trick and how to counter it. That made her one of the few people who could counter that spell.
Dahlia whispered to Drakon, "Don't do anything. Let me handle this."
She tried to move towards Axton, but Drakon grabbed her arm firmly. When Dahlia turned, he said, "This had better not escalate, or you'll have me to contend with. I warned you that I hate being double-crossed!"
