Drakon and his men moved through the thick forest with a speed and precision borne out of desperation, their senses on high alert.
Zack was mainly in the lead, his confident strides eating up the distance as he meant to show the others precisely where he noticed the smell.
"We are leaving our territories," Drakon pointed out, and Zack nodded before responding.
"I went east right after we spread out,"
"I still don't understand how you know the route to the coven," Drakon muttered, his voice barely above a whisper, "I don't think we've ever had any reasons to pay them any visits."
The Beta threw a glance back, "I told you I picked up a scent," he said, then looked up at the sun."We are almost there."
Drakon sighed as he pushed forward and bypassed Zack.
"We've been walking since dawn; I hope you are right on this one, pal."
A thought suddenly hit the alpha, and he glanced at the other man.
"How did you know the scent you picked up was dragon's blood?"
