CHAPTER 39: SILENT SIGNALS
Drakon has been feeling sus since the start of the day. He had tried to mind-link Zach, but it had been useless since he woke up.
He tried getting through to either Shirley or any of the maids too, it was still the same. He attempted to mind link any of his warriors, but they all decided to put a mental block simultaneously.
'Trust me, this is way beyond some mental block or sh*t, it's way beyond that. We need to go home now.' His wolf said to him.
'I think it'd be better if you tell me what's happening here; I can't just leave everything here and go home because of your suspicions.' Drakon said back to him.
'Are you sure you want to start questioning me on that now? Our mate might be in danger, and all you care about is why we're going home, right?' his wolf questioned him.
He didn't say any other thing to his wolf anymore; he knew he badly needed to get to his mate, too.
