CHAPTER 167: CHILDHOOD MEMORIES
Dahlia could feel her energy draining and her magic weakening. She knew she couldn't keep the healing magic for much longer but would give her all, even if it killed her. Shirley needed to survive to heal Drakon; if this were the part she needed to play, she would do it well.
Dahlia wondered if this was where she lost her life. Looking at the shallow movement of Shirley's chest convinced her that giving her life up for Shirley and Drakon was a worthwhile cause.
"Zack?" Dahlia said to Zack, seated, "Can you please talk to me?" She needed Zack's voice to distract her from the negative thoughts circulating.
"Talk to you?" Zack asked, confused by the request.
"I need you to tell me something, anything at all," Dahlia replied, still sending her healing magic into Shirley. "I need some distraction, please."
"Um," A confused Zack scratched his head and tried thinking of something to say. "The trees are green?"
