CHAPTER 116: BREAKING A WALL.
"What was that all about?" Shirley queried as Drakon led her into the house.
"I have no idea," he answered thoughtfully, "something about him doesn't sit right with me, though."
Shirley glanced at him before gently tugging him down to sit beside her. "Why didn't you tell him you were the one he was looking for?"
"I was going to tell him, but something stopped me."
They barely settled in when they heard the loud noise outside the house.
"I'll go check," Drakon muttered as he bolted up and rushed towards the door.
"And I'm coming too!" Shirley replied as she hurried after him. He wasn't about to argue with her, so he let her.
Drakon pulled the door open, and his heart sank. Shirley's hand instinctively went to his arm, her grip tightening as they saw the man from earlier, accompanied by a group of rough-looking individuals, camped just outside the holding, with one of them holding a bound and gagged Dahlia.
"Unhand her!" Shirley screamed as she rushed forward, but Drakon restrain
