"That does make sense," Jenson admitted as he felt a sense of regret.
He wondered why he hadn't realized sooner that reading and studying could be fulfilling.
"Let's head back. We'll come again tomorrow," he told Helen.
After leaving the library, Jenson started the car, and they headed home.
By the time they arrived, it was already late. Chandler had just returned from work and coincidentally met Helen and Jenson as they entered while laughing and talking.
"Chandler, you're back," Jenson greeted him.
Chandler responded with a grunt, but he inadvertently shifted his gaze to Helen. He then asked, "Where have you been? It's late."
Jenson chuckled. "Just out and about."
Jenson clearly didn't want Chandler to know about his current situation. Helen didn't expose him either. She simply greeted them before saying, "I'm heading upstairs."
