Glendale had five major corporations, with Moore Corporation as the largest, essentially the leader of Glendale's business world. Hathe Corporation ranked second. Since Benjamin Hathe took over, it had been flourishing, almost poised to dethrone Moore Corporation as the leader. Both corporations operated in many of the same industries, leading to frequent competition and business rivalry, making them natural enemies. Thus, the heads of these corporations naturally became archenemies. After Michael hung up the phone, Logan started the car. Lorraine didn't ask who Logan was talking to as she had no interest in his private affairs given their lack of emotional connection as a couple. Since she didn't ask, Logan didn't explain either.
