"You can get a house, renovate it, and air it out. It'll be ready for you to move into once the kids start school."
Lorraine shook her head. "No, we can't possibly take your money. I'll talk to Logan about getting a house when he comes home. It's an important decision, after all."
If she and Logan were to buy a house for when the kids started school, it would add to her existing debt. She might need more time to pay it off, but she could always scrape together some money for the house.
"I'm old, and I don't have much to spend on. I saved up all the money my children gave me during festive occasions. Logan's cousins are faring much better than him, work-wise.
"Think of the money as my gift to him. I don't want him to have to struggle to finance a house," Hestia insisted.
