After walking a distance, Sonia pulled out her phone to book a ride back to the city. She made up what she said earlier to keep Lorraine from worrying about her. In truth, Jacob didn't reach out to her at all. As Sonia walked, she tapped on her ride-share app when she heard a car horn blaring from behind.
