Tiffany clung to Vincent's arm, refusing to let go. Vincent chuckled, giving her hand a reassuring pat. "It's just a cat. There's nothing to be scared of."
But his words didn't ease her nerves. She hesitated before saying, "I'll go with you."

Hand in hand, they walked over to the window. Vincent leaned on the sill, peering down while Tiffany hovered behind him. A sharp gust of wind blew in, whistling through the open window and biting at their faces.
"Did you see it?" Tiffany asked.
"It's gone," Vincent replied, turning away and shutting the window with a casual flick.
