"Hello? Is this Tiffany?" Upon hearing the voice, Tiffany froze for a moment. The person on the other end quickly added, "It's me, Ivy. Don't you remember me?" Tiffany snapped out of her daze. "I remember." It had been so long since she last went to Lewis Group that everything from before felt like a lifetime ago. "Mr. Lewis is at a business dinner. He left his phone in the private room, and I was just about to take it to him when you called. Don't worry, I'll get it to him right away." Tiffany heard footsteps on the other end. A few minutes later, the phone was handed to someone else, and she heard Ivy say, "Mr. Lewis, it's a call from Tiffany." Tiffany could hear his breathing and started to speak, "Vincent..." But as soon as she uttered a single word, the call was cut off. The sound of the busy signal echoed in her ears, making her head feel numb. She didn't call back and just sat on the couch with her phone, waiting. Time seemed to slow down when one was alone. Tiffany tho
