Three days later, Zelda arrived at the banquet hall with an invitation courtesy of Emily. She had heard from Emily that her boyfriend's family was powerful and influential, so their engagement banquet was held at one of the top hotels in Phoypolis. After handing over her invitation, a waiter glanced at her name and led her to a seat along the far edge of the hall. Each table had a small sign listing the guests seated there. Zelda's table was labeled "Bride's Family". As she walked by, she noticed that only two tables, including hers, were for the bride's side, while everyone else was from the groom's side. She had arrived early, and the banquet hall was still relatively empty. After sitting at her table for a moment, she stretched her legs and went for a stroll outside. As she reached the back of the hall, she overheard someone angrily scolding, "Didn't I tell you to quit your job? Why are you still running back and forth to the hospital? You're about to marry my son. It's unlucky
