I shook my head and chuckled. "People like her wear their hearts on their sleeves. I just don't want to waste any more time on her."
I wasn't sure what Yaeger had said to Lilith, but she hadn't bothered me since then.
Having left Storm Corporation, it was time to start my own venture. The next day, I drove straight to the administrative warehouse as I planned to set up a small office space inside.
After all, the company was just starting and had yet to have a large budget.
As I arrived at the warehouse entrance, I saw a red car parked there. Skye had arrived early. She was on the phone and quickly jotting down notes on a paper. She was captivating even when she worked, making it hard not to steal a few glances.
She seemed to notice me too. After hanging up, she walked over to me with a gentle smile. "Welcome, Mr. Schmitt."
I smiled and saw Skye point to the sign on the floor near the door. She asked, "How do you like the company name?"
