MAXINE.
The attack of the Werewolves was unexpected, to say the least. It launches the entire courtroom into absolute madness, and I can’t blame them at all.
In fact, even my brain is launched into a panic so big and so potent that I just hide behind the wall of the stand and don't move for a long while.
I feel strange, suffocated. My instincts are telling me to get out of there and fight, but my limbs just feel limp and useless. I don’t think I can even stand. Looking at those red eyes made me feel something strange. Like a white-hot poker, being pressed against my chest—

“We have to get out of here,” he says, and without giving me a chance to say anything, drags me from behind the stand and pulls me towards the door exiting the courthouse.
“Theo,” I whisper. “We have to get Theo. And everyone else should be safe….”
