Alana’s POV.
Exiting the taxi, Alec extended his hand, and I gratefully accepted it. I took a moment to look around, taking in the tropical surroundings that were so different from what I was used to. The temperature and nature were quite very different but funny enough, it seems like I didn’t mind it. I was here with Alec and somehow it was like I loved these places, like I didn’t mind anything at all, as long as I’d have Alec with me. The island was clearly a popular tourist destination, with people passing by in cheerful vacation attire, wearing Aruba-themed shirts, hats, and smiles. The sun's rays gently kissed my skin, bringing warmth and that familiar prickling sensation. While it wasn't my typical choice of destination, I was determined to make this trip as wonderful as our previous ones.
